Last year, at the V-UAE 2016 in Dubai, participants from India got a surprise guest in the form of Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi, who is known not just for his skill as a fine actor, but also a philanthropist who has made an impact on education, health and disaster relief in India.
In Dubai, Vivek announced a partnership between QNet and the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), a non-profit organisation dedicated to the total management of cancer as a disease, and the NGO he has supported for over a decade.

So popular was his session at the V-UAE that participants were wondering if they would see him again at V-Malaysia 2017. He didn’t disappoint!
The 20,000 strong crowd went absolutely wild as Vivek Oberoi came back to talk to the V-Malaysia participants.
“This feels like homecoming!”, he declared as he made his way to the stage at the SPICE arena in Penang.
Vivek had flown in all the way from Belgrade where he was shooting for his latest film. Despite the long journey, and the jetlag, he was full of energy as showed the QNet world the impact we have had on the lives on three young cancer survivors.
Vivek was accompanied by three brave young warriors, Divyanshu, Lahu, and Akanksha, who beat the Big C with the help of the Cancer Patients Aid Association.
Vivek revealed that because of QNet’s support, the CPAA was able to help these children and their families through the toughest period of their lives. And now, they were here in Malaysia on their very first international trip to thank the QNet and the RYTHM family.
Little Divyanshu was so excited to fly on a plane for the first time in his life that he has decided to become a pilot when he grows up.
“Thank you, Vivek Bhaiya, QNet and CPAA for helping us,” chorused the kids to the thunderous applause of 20,000 people from around the world.
Vivek then went on to talk to the participants about his personal story of failure, success and eventually finding his purpose. He urged QNet IRs to take a leap of faith and go for it heart first. “It’s all about belief, it’s all about giving it that shot. It’s all about putting yourself out there!” he said.
